Designation: Key Accounts Manager

Location: Ahmedabad (Roles includes travelling for client meetings, client visit, participation in conferences, EXPO etc.)
Role & Responsibilities
Account Relationship Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for key clients
- Build long-term, trust-based relationships with decision-makers
- Understand client business models, objectives, and challenges
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention
Business Development & Revenue Growth
- Identify opportunities to increase sales within existing accounts
- Drive volume growth, cross-selling, and up-selling
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial terms
- Achieve sales targets and account profitability goals
Strategic Planning
- Develop and implement account plans aligned with client objectives
- Forecast demand and plan order pipelines
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing movements
- Align internal strategy with client requirements
Order & Supply Chain Coordination
- Coordinate with production, logistics, and EXIM teams for order execution
- Ensure timely production, dispatch, and delivery
- Manage inventory planning and shipment schedules
- Handle issues related to delays, shortages, or quality concerns
Pricing & Commercial Management
- Manage cost negotiations, price revisions, and margin protection
- Evaluate impact of raw material, freight, and external cost changes
- Structure commercial proposals and cost-sharing models when required
Issue Resolution & Escalation Handling
- Proactively address customer complaints and operational issues
- Coordinate internally to resolve quality, delivery, or documentation concerns
- Manage escalations professionally to maintain client confidence
Internal Coordination
- Act as a bridge between client and internal teams (sales, production, finance, logistics)
- Ensure alignment on commitments, timelines, and deliverables
- Provide regular updates and reporting to management
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Track account performance (sales, margins, volumes)
- Prepare periodic business reviews with clients
- Analyze gaps and implement corrective actions
Contract & Compliance Management
- Ensure adherence to contractual terms and agreed SLAs
- Oversee documentation, payment terms, and credit limits
- Monitor risk exposure in key accounts
Market Intelligence & Customer Insights
- Gather insights on customer demand trends and future requirements
- Provide feedback to product and strategy teams
- Support product development or customization based on client needs
