About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Key Account Manager to manage and grow strategic client relationships within the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction, identifying growth opportunities, and serving as the primary point of contact for key accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and nurture relationships with key clients in the AEC industry.
- Act as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams.
- Understand client business objectives and align company solutions accordingly.
- Develop account plans to drive customer retention, revenue growth, and long-term partnerships.
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts.
- Conduct regular business reviews and performance discussions with clients.
- Coordinate with project delivery, operations, and technical teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Monitor client satisfaction and proactively address concerns or escalations.
- Prepare account reports, forecasts, and business development plans.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Key Account Management, Client Relationship Management, or Business Development.
- Mandatory experience working with clients in the AEC (Architecture, Engineering & Construction) industry.
- Strong understanding of AEC workflows, project lifecycles, and stakeholder management.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Proven track record of managing high-value accounts and achieving revenue targets.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple client relationships effectively.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with international clients, particularly US-based customers.
- Knowledge of BIM, CAD, Engineering Design Services, Construction Documentation, or related AEC solutions.
- Strong problem-solving and customer-centric approach.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
