About The Role
We are looking for an experienced and client-focused Key Account Manager to manage strategic client relationships within our recruitment and staffing business. The ideal candidate should have prior experience working in a recruitment consultancy or staffing firm, with strong exposure to account management, client servicing, and recruitment coordination.
This role is best suited for professionals who enjoy building long-term client partnerships, driving hiring success, and working closely with internal recruitment teams to ensure timely closures.
Key Responsibilities
Client Account Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts
Understand client hiring requirements and workforce needs
Maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and timely support
Handle escalations and ensure high levels of client satisfaction
Recruitment Coordination
Coordinate with internal recruitment teams to ensure quality candidate submissions
Monitor hiring progress across active positions and provide regular status updates to clients
Ensure timely interview scheduling, feedback collection, and offer closures
Business Development
Identify and acquire new clients through networking, LinkedIn outreach, references, and market mapping
Participate in client meetings, presentations, and requirement discussions
Support commercial negotiations and agreement finalization
Vendor Management
Empanel and manage external recruitment partners/vendors when required
Define delivery expectations, timelines, and quality standards
Track vendor performance and maintain a reliable partner network
Reporting & Operations
Maintain accurate hiring and account-related data in ATS/CRM systems
Prepare client reports, closure trackers, and hiring dashboards
Coordinate with finance teams for invoicing and payment follow-ups
Candidate Requirements
3–8 years of experience in a recruitment consultancy or staffing organization
Strong understanding of recruitment lifecycle management (IT and/or Non-IT hiring)
Proven experience in client servicing and account management
Exposure to business development or client acquisition activities preferred
Experience working with recruitment vendors/partners is an advantage
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills
Hands-on experience with LinkedIn, job portals, ATS platforms, and MS Excel
Bachelor's degree required; MBA/PGDM preferred
