Role Summary:

The Key Account Manager – Marketplaces & Quick Commerce will be responsible for building and scaling Opptra's multi-category business across leading e-commerce marketplaces (Amazon, Flipkart, etc.) and quick commerce platforms (Blinkit, Zepto, Instamart, etc.). This role will own account-level P&L, category growth, platform partnerships, and execution excellence, ensuring sustainable and profitable expansion over a 2–5 year horizon across categories like Home, Kitchen, Furnishing, Electronics, and General Merchandise

Key Outcomes:

1. Channel Onboarding & Readiness Enable seamless onboarding across marketplaces and quick commerce channels with 100% SKU activation and platform compliance.

2. Category Planning & Execution Excellence Drive assortment launches, campaign execution, and promotional readiness aligned with quarterly business goals.

3. Supply Chain & PO Management Manage PO creation, tracking, closure, and ensure OTIF delivery while reducing fulfilment and delivery slippages.

4. Catalogue Quality & Hygiene Ensure best-in-class catalogue accuracy, content quality, attribute completeness, and platform hygiene scores

Key Responsibilities:

● Own end-to-end P&L, GMV growth, and contribution margins for assigned marketplace and quick commerce accounts.

● Drive category strategy, assortment planning, hero SKU scaling, and portfolio expansion.

● Lead Joint Business Planning (JBP) with platform partners to unlock growth opportunities.

● Plan and execute high-impact events, promotions, and seasonal campaigns with ROI discipline.

● Manage pricing, discounting, and advertising spends to improve margins and profitability.

● Ensure operational excellence across fill rates, inventory turns, returns, and service levels.

● Improve product discoverability through strong content, ratings, reviews, and platform optimization.

● Launch and scale new brands/products with speed and execution rigor.

● Partner cross-functionally with supply chain, finance, marketing, and category teams for end-to-end delivery.

Experience & Skills Required:

● Strong experience managing marketplace accounts + quick commerce platforms in a KAM/category role.

● Deep understanding of marketplace economics, fee structures, ads ROI, discount levers, and margin bridges.

● Proven capability in category growth, assortment planning, and execution excellence.

● Strong stakeholder management with internal teams and external platform partners.

● Analytical mindset with ability to build mini P&Ls, identify margin leakages, and drive profitability.

● Bias for action, ownership mindset, and comfort operating in a fast-moving startup environment.
