Role Purpose :
The Key Account Manager (Sales) Mizzo Robotics (Soft Tissue Robotics) will play a critical role in driving adoption, revenue growth, and market leadership of Meril's robotic surgery platform. This role requires strong expertise in capital equipment sales, deep engagement with surgeons and hospital leadership, and the ability to manage long, complex sales cycles in a highly specialized clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Business Growth (Primary Focus)
- Own end-to-end sales responsibility for Mizzo Soft Tissue Robotic Systems, including capital equipment, instruments, and recurring consumables in the assigned territory.
- Drive new system sales by identifying high-potential hospitals, robotic surgery aspirants, and early adopters.
- Develop and execute territory-level sales strategies, including account segmentation, opportunity mapping, and prioritization of key hospitals.
- Manage the complete capital sales cyclefrom lead generation, surgeon engagement, product demonstration, clinical evaluation, and proposal submission to commercial negotiation and deal closure.
- Build a robust sales pipeline with accurate forecasting, ensuring consistent movement of opportunities across stages.
- Position Mizzo Robotics as a strategic investment for hospitals by clearly articulating ROI, case volume potential, clinical differentiation, and long-term partnership value.
- Collaborate with leadership to drive pricing strategies, institutional deals, and long-term contracts aligned with business objectives.
- Ensure achievement of revenue, installation, and market expansion targets as defined for the territory.
2. Key Account Management
- Manage strategic key accounts including flagship and reference hospitals.
- Build long-term relationships with surgeons, hospital management, and procurement teams.
- Act as the primary commercial interface for assigned accounts.
3. Surgeon & Clinical Engagement
- Engage surgeons and OT teams to support demos, evaluations, CMEs, and live cases.
- Work closely with Clinical Application teams to drive system adoption.
Desired Candidate Profile
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering / Life Sciences / Engineering
- MBA / PGDM preferred
Experience:
- 610 years in medical device or capital equipment sales
- Strong exposure to surgical robotics, laparoscopy, or complex medical technologies
