Key Responsibilities
P&L & Commercial Ownership
- Own full P&L for assigned marketplaces/categories, including revenue, margins, burn, and contribution.
- Drive profitable growth through pricing, promotions, and commercial negotiations.
- Track and optimise discounting, trade spends, and visibility investments.
Category & Marketplace Management
- Manage category performance across platforms like Nykaa, Tira, Myntra Beauty, etc.
- Develop and execute category strategies to drive share, visibility, and ranking.
- Own marketplace relationships and ensure alignment on growth plans, launches, and campaigns.
Planning & Forecasting
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual sales planning and forecasting.
- Build demand forecasts at SKU/category level in coordination with supply chain.
- Own budgeting and AOP targets for assigned accounts.
Data, Reporting & Performance Tracking
- Track and analyse key metrics: GMV, net sales, margins, ROAS, sell-through, inventory ageing, fill rate.
- Build dashboards and reports to drive actionable insights.
- Identify gaps, risks, and growth levers through data-backed analysis.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with marketing, creative, supply chain, finance, and ops teams.
- Align inventory, campaigns, and content to marketplace calendars.
- Ensure smooth execution of launches and promotions.
What We're Looking For
- 48 years of experience in Key Account Management / Marketplace / Modern Trade, preferably in beauty, FMCG, or D2C.
- Strong experience in P&L ownership and category management.
- Proven ability in planning, forecasting, and data analysis.
- Strong Excel and reporting skills; comfort working with numbers daily.
- Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-ownership environments.
