Job Summary

VALEO INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Key Account Manager to manage and grow relationships with our most important clients. This role is crucial for driving revenue, ensuring client satisfaction, and contributing to the overall success of our strategic partnerships.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with assigned key accounts, understanding their business needs and strategic objectives.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring timely and effective communication and issue resolution.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing key accounts to expand product/service penetration and drive sales growth.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and contract negotiations.
  • Monitor account performance, analyze sales data, and generate accurate management reporting to inform strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (e.g., engineering, marketing, logistics) to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding client information, company strategies, and sensitive data.
  • Manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively, demonstrating strong multitasking and time management skills.
  • Accurately record and update customer interactions, sales activities, and account information in relevant systems (Data Entry).

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in key account management or a senior sales role, preferably within the automotive or manufacturing industry.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong customer service orientation with a proactive approach to understanding and addressing client needs.
  • Excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • A strong understanding of sales principles and client relationship management.
