Key Account Manager (KAM) – Kerovit by Kajaria

Location: Mumbai

Department: Sales & Business Development

Job Summary

The Key Account Manager will be responsible for managing and growing strategic accounts in the Mumbai market. The role involves handling relationships with architects, interior designers, builders, dealers, channel partners, and premium retail clients to drive sales growth and increase brand presence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow key customer accounts across Mumbai region.
  • Develop strong relationships with architects, builders, developers, consultants, and channel partners.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities in residential and commercial projects.
  • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations for clients.
  • Coordinate with dealers and distributors for smooth order execution.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer requirements.
  • Ensure timely collections and payment follow-ups.
  • Maintain sales pipeline and CRM reports.
  • Collaborate with marketing and operations teams for project execution.

Required Skills

  • Strong account management and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Good understanding of sanitaryware, bath fittings.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • MBA preferred.

Experience

  • Typically 3–8 years in Key Account Management / Project Sales / B2B Sales.
  • Preferred industry exposure:
  • Bathware
  • Sanitaryware

Preferred Candidate Profile

  • Existing network with architects, builders, and premium dealers in Mumbai.
  • Experience handling project sales and institutional clients.
  • Strong local market knowledge.
