Chief Manager, Key Account Management Fintech

Location: Bangalore (Work From Office)

Department: Financial Solutions & Affinity Business

Reporting To: KAM Head, South

Job Summary

We are seeking a driven, strategic, and relationship-oriented Key Account Manager to join our rapidly growing Fintech business based out of Bangalore. In this role, you will be responsible for owning, nurturing, and expanding key client relationships across Payments, NBFC Fintech, Insuretech institutions. You will play a pivotal role in driving adoption of our offerings, ensuring

client success, and unlocking new growth opportunities through deep collaboration with partners across the financial ecosystem. This is a high impact individual contributor role.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Own and manage end-to-end relationships with key clients in the NBFC Fintechs, Payments,

and Insurtech ecosystem in Bangalore

  • Own and deliver revenue and profit targets from designated partners through continuous

revenue expansion, margin expansion & new program launches

  • Act as the primary liaison between partners and internal teams to ensure seamless delivery,

issue resolution, and business value realization

  • Deeply understand partners business models, pain points, and priorities to deliver

consultative, value-based solutions.

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to expand wallet share, improve partner

satisfaction, and drive long-term retention.

  • Lead commercial discussions, contract negotiations, and renewals with senior stakeholders.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Category, Tech, Risk, Compliance, Legal, and

Operations teams to deliver service excellence and partner success.

  • Track and report on account performance, revenue pipeline, and key success metrics to

leadership.

  • Stay ahead of trends in Digital Finance, Embedded Finance, and evolving Regulatory

Frameworks to proactively support client needs.

  • Represent the voice of the partner internally and influence product development and

strategy through actionable market insights.

Ideal Candidate Profile / Experience Required

  • 812 years of experience in Key Account Management or Strategic Partnerships, preferably

within Fintech, Insuretech, Banking, Lending, or SaaS platforms serving financial institutions.

  • Experience in InsurTech (Acko, Go Digit, etc.) with a proven track record of driving and

managing digital partnerships preferred.

  • Strong understanding of the Indian Financial Ecosystem, including Payments players and

digital lending models.

  • Proven track record of managing large accounts and consistently achieving revenue growth

targets.

  • Exceptional communication, relationship management, and negotiation skills.
  • Confident in engaging with CXOs, Business Heads, and Product/Tech teams at partner

organizations.

Academic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Technology (mandatory).
  • MBA from a reputed institution (mandatory).

Skills, Abilities & Competencies

  • Prior experience working with large Fintechs or selling to NBFCs, Top Banks, or Regulated Financial Institutions.
  • Strong knowledge of RBI and IRDAI guidelines, KYC norms, and compliance processes within the financial services domain.
  • Analytical mindset with hands-on experience in Power BI and Excel/Google Suite for business tracking and reporting.
  • Expertise in power point presentations to deliver precise insights to partners
  • Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Strategic thinking with an aptitude to translate insights into actionable business plans.
  • Collaborative and solution-oriented approach when dealing with cross-functional internal

teams and multiple stakeholders.
