Essential Functions

JOB DESCRIPTION

Account Management

Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key accounts, including hospitals, specialty clinics, and healthcare professionals.

Act as the single point of contact for account-related queries, support, and issue resolution.

Strategic Planning & Business Development

Develop and implement account-specific strategies aligned with company goals.

Identify opportunities for growth, propose tailored solutions, and drive account penetration.

Sales Performance

Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and objectives.

Monitor account performance, analyze sales data, and recommend actions for improvement.

Market Intelligence

Conduct competitor benchmarking and market analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.

Stay current on regulatory changes, therapeutic advancements, and evolving treatment pathways in CNS.

Cross-functional Collaboration

Partner with marketing, medical affairs, market access, and product development teams to ensure effective execution of account strategies.

Act as a bridge between client needs and internal stakeholders for seamless coordination.

Reporting & Analysis

Prepare and deliver timely reports on account performance, customer feedback, and competitive insights to senior management.

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Business, or a related discipline.

Advanced degree (MBA, M. Pharm, or equivalent) preferred.

Experience

Minimum 7+ years of experience in key account management or sales within the pharmaceutical industry.

Proven expertise in the CNS therapeutic area (preferably migraine and multiple sclerosis).

Demonstrated success in managing high-value accounts and consistently meeting/exceeding sales targets.

Skills

Strong understanding of CNS therapies, treatment pathways, and healthcare dynamics.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Strategic thinking with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.

Willingness to travel extensively as per business needs.
