Title: Key Account Manager - PACB

About Us:

About the team:

The Payment Gateway / Payment Aggregator (PA-PG) business powers online payment acceptance for thousands of enterprises, startups, and high-growth digital platforms across India.

The PACB (Payment Aggregator Corporate Business) team is responsible for acquiring large enterprises and digital-first merchants, enabling them with seamless payment infrastructure and customized payment solutions.

About the role:

We are looking for a highly driven enterprise sales professional to join the PACB team, responsible for hunting and acquiring large enterprise merchants for Paytm's payment gateway and digital payment solutions.

The role involves identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with CXOs and decision-makers, and driving adoption of Paytm's payment infrastructure across large online businesses and digital platforms.

Expectations/ Requirements:

  • Drive new merchant acquisition by identifying and closing large enterprise opportunities in the payment's ecosystem.
  • Develop strong relationships with CXOs, founders, and senior stakeholders across large enterprises, startups, and digital-first businesses.
  • Pitch Paytm's Payment Gateway and Aggregator solutions including Cards, UPI, Net Banking, Wallets, BNPL, APIs, and payment orchestration.
  • Build and manage a robust enterprise sales pipeline through market mapping, networking, and strategic outreach.
  • Work closely with product, integrations, tech, and operations teams to onboard merchants and deliver customized payment solutions.
  • Lead commercial negotiations, contracts, and partnership discussions with enterprise clients.
  • Understand merchant business models and design payment solutions that drive revenue and customer growth.
  • Track industry trends, competition, and market opportunities within the fintech and payments ecosystem.
  • Achieve revenue targets, merchant acquisition goals, and payment volume growth for the business.
  • Ensure smooth merchant onboarding and integration with Paytm's payment infrastructure.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Engineering graduate / Postgraduate in Business or related field.
  • 610 years of experience in Enterprise Sales / Business Development in Payments, Fintech, SaaS, or BFSI.
  • Strong experience in hunting large enterprise clients and closing strategic deals.
  • Deep understanding of payment gateway ecosystem, APIs, integrations, settlement, and digital payments landscape.
  • Proven track record of achieving revenue targets and acquiring large enterprise accounts.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to build CXO-level relationships and drive strategic partnerships.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to understand merchant business models.
