Key Account Executive - Modern Trade

Role Overview

Astral Ltd. is looking for a highly driven Key Account Executive (KAE) to manage and grow Modern Trade business in the assigned market. The role demands strong on-ground execution, sell-out ownership, and merchandiser management, ensuring high availability, visibility, and promotion compliance across stores.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sell-out growth across all assigned Modern Trade outlets
  • Ensure execution of promotions, schemes, NPD launches, and assortments
  • Manage and grow business with regional Modern Trade chains
  • Ensure product availability, stock cover, and replenishment coordination
  • Handle and supervise merchandisers to maintain execution discipline
  • Coordinate with store managers, distributors, and internal sales teams
  • Monitor and improve in-store visibility and brand presence
  • Track secondary sales, stock levels, and execution gaps
  • Share regular updates on sales performance, risks, and competitor activities

Key Accountabilities

  • Ownership of sell-out performance in the assigned geography
  • Execution quality across stores and regional chains
  • Productivity and performance of merchandisers
  • Availability and visibility of products in stores
