Kavi India Software Technologies is seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 12-15 years of experience in cloud architecture, a proven track record in designing cloud environments, and the ability to lead a team of developers and engineers.
Role
As a Cloud Architect, you will play a crucial role in shaping our cloud strategy, ensuring the scalability, reliability, and security of our cloud :
- Architectural Design: Design and implement scalable, secure, and robust cloud architectures.
- Cloud Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive cloud strategy in alignment with the company's goals and objectives.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of cloud engineers and developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Infrastructure Management: Oversee the deployment, management, and monitoring of cloud infrastructure.
- Security: Ensure that cloud environments comply with security standards and best practices.
- Cost Optimization: Manage cloud costs and optimize infrastructure to balance performance and cost-effectiveness.
- Integration: Facilitate the integration of cloud services with on-premises systems and third-party services.
- Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and support for cloud-based projects and initiatives.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with emerging cloud technologies and continuously improve cloud architecture and practices.
Requirements
- Experience : Minimum of 12-15 years in IT, with at least 5-7 years in cloud architecture roles.
- Education : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Cloud Platforms : Extensive experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Architectural Skills : Strong knowledge of cloud architecture principles, patterns, and best practices.
- Leadership : Proven ability to lead and manage a team of cloud engineers and developers.
- Technical Skills : Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., Python, Terraform, Ansible), containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.
- Security: Deep understanding of cloud security principles and practices.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to stakeholders.
- Certifications: Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect) are a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with hybrid cloud environments.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
- Knowledge of networking and infrastructure as code is a plus.
- Experience in a leadership role leading a mid to large team cross functional team.
