Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role based in Bengaluru South for a Script Writer at Wilmarcs Motion Pictures. As a Script Writer, you will be responsible for conceptualizing and drafting compelling scripts for various video formats, including corporate films, advertisements, and promotional videos. Responsibilities include collaborating with directors and clients, creating engaging content outlines, and adapting scripts for diverse audiences and mediums. You will also work closely with the production team to ensure the final product effectively communicates the intended message.

key Responsibilities

• Develop original scripts, screenplays, dialogues, and story concepts for film and production projects.
• Collaborate with directors, creative producers, and production teams to shape narratives and visual storytelling.
• Write scripts for corporate films, advertisements, documentaries, branded content, and cinematic productions.
• Conduct research to ensure authenticity and depth in storytelling.
• Revise and refine scripts based on creative feedback and production requirements.
• Ensure scripts align with project vision, audience expectations, and production timelines.
• Assist in screenplay structuring, scene development, and character building.

Required Skill

• Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, Literature, Journalism, Film Studies, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in script writing or screenplay writing.
• Strong storytelling, dialogue writing, and screenplay development skills.
• Excellent command of English and/or regional languages.
• Creative thinking with attention to detail and narrative flow.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a creative production environment.
• Understanding of screenplay formats and cinematic storytelling techniques.

Preferred Skill

• Experience in film production houses, advertising agencies, or media companies.
• Knowledge of screenplay formatting tools and script development processes.
• Understanding of visual narration and cinematic structure.
• Ability to handle multiple creative projects simultaneously.
