Job Description

A Key Account Management (KAM) Acquisition job focuses on acquiring new high-value clients and managing the initial sales cycle. Responsibilities include identifying and contacting potential new clients, developing proposals, negotiating contracts, and driving initial sales to meet acquisition and revenue targets. Key skills include strong sales, negotiation, relationship-building, and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Acquisition:Proactively identify and acquire new key accounts through outreach, lead generation, and sales activities.
  • Sales and Revenue:Drive new business by meeting and exceeding sales and revenue targets for new client acquisitions.
  • Strategy and Planning:Develop and execute strategic account plans to secure new business and align with company objectives.
  • Contract Negotiation:Lead negotiations for new client contracts and agreements.
  • Market Analysis:Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for new clients.
  • Collaboration:Work with internal teams, such as marketing and product development, to ensure successful client onboarding and solution delivery.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Sales Acumen:Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Negotiation Skills:Strong ability to negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts.
  • Relationship Building:Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients.
  • Communication:Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strategic Thinking:Ability to develop and execute strategic plans for account growth.
  • CRM Software:Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools to track sales progress.
  • Experience:Experience in sales, account management, or a related field, often with a focus on corporate or enterprise clients.
  • Education:A bachelor's degree is required.
