Role Overview
You will work on front-end WordPress development using page builders and AI tools like Claude Code to build, customize, and optimize websites.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and customize WordPress websites using page builders (Elementor, WPBakery, Beaver Builder or similar).
- Use Claude Code and other AI tools to speed up front-end development, code generation, and debugging.
- Implement basic security best practices using plugins (e.g., Wordfence, iThemes Security) and anti-spam measures (CAPTCHA, honeypots).
- Apply basic performance optimization using caching plugins, CDNs (e.g., KeyCDN), and tools like WP Rocket or similar.
- Configure email delivery using Mailgun or SMTP plugins for contact forms and notifications.
- Apply on-page SEO fundamentals using plugins like Yoast SEO or RankMath.
- Ensure fully responsive, mobile-friendly layouts across devices and browsers.
- Collaborate with designers and seniors, follow guidelines, and document your work clearly.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Good understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and basic PHP (projects, internship, or self-learning are acceptable).
- Familiarity with WordPress: themes, plugins, and at least one page builder (Elementor, WPBakery, Beaver Builder or similar).
- Basic knowledge or hands-on practice with Claude Code (or other AI coding assistants) for writing and improving code.
- Understanding of website security concepts and common security/anti-spam plugins.
- Basic knowledge of speed optimization: caching, image optimization, and CDN usage.
- Understanding of SEO basics and experience using any SEO plugin is a plus.
- Fluent English communication (spoken and written) is mandatory.
- Strong problem-solving attitude, attention to detail, and willingness to learn fast with AI tools.
Who Should Apply
- Juniors with 6–18 months of WordPress/front-end experience, and regular hands-on usage of Claude Code for coding, debugging, or automations.
- Freshers who have done good projects (personal, freelance, internship) using WordPress and Claude Code / AI tools and can showcase their work.
