About the company- Our client is a pharmaceutical company based in Mumbai, India, that has been active since 2003. It specializes in the development, manufacturing, and marketing of dermatology and skincare products used by consumers and professionals. The company works with a range of skincare brands and formulations, including moisturizers, cleansers, antihistamine tablets for skin allergies, and antifungal products aimed at helping people with different skin concerns.

Currently our client is engaged in marketing around 25 DERMA BRANDS with PAN INDIA operations.

Role Overview

They are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Junior Web Developer to join their team. The candidate will work on website development, updates, maintenance, troubleshooting, and support ongoing web projects. You will also work closely with the senior Web Developer on day-to-day tasks and project execution.

Job Responsibilities

Website Development & Maintenance

• Develop, update, and maintain company websites and landing pages
• Handle basic frontend and backend website tasks
• Ensure websites are responsive and work properly on all devices
• Fix website bugs, errors, and performance issues
• Manage website backups, security updates, and plugins

Platform Management

Work on platforms like:

• WordPress
• Shopify
• Wix
• Custom websites

Responsibilities include:

• Theme and plugin management
• Product uploads
• Website integrations and updates

Frontend Development

• Build and edit webpages using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Convert designs into responsive webpages
• Coordinate with the design team for UI implementation

Project Support

• Support the senior Web Developer in daily technical tasks
• Assist in website testing, debugging, deployment, and content updates
• Coordinate with internal teams for smooth project execution
• Help improve workflow efficiency and project timelines

Backend & Technical Support (Basic)

• Support forms, APIs, CMS configurations, and database-related tasks
• Assist with basic backend integrations

Required Skills

1–2 years of experience in web development.

• Good knowledge of:
• HTML5
• CSS3
• JavaScript
• WordPress

Basic understanding of:

• PHP
• MySQL
• Shopify
• Responsive web design

Ability to troubleshoot website issues independently

Basic understanding of website hosting and domains

Strong attention to detail

Qualification

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in:
• Computer Science
• IT
• Web Development
• Software Engineering
• Candidates with certifications or portfolio projects will have an added advantage.
