Junior Visual Merchandiser

Location: Mumbai

Key Responsibilities

1. In-Store Execution Support

● Support installation and setup of window displays, in-store visuals, promotional zones, and

campaign-specific assets across stores and B2B channels

● Assist in executing visual merchandising plans for seasonal launches, product drops,

promotions, and special campaigns

● Ensure all product displays, fixtures, mannequins, props, and communication materials align

with approved brand guidelines

● Support implementation of visual updates for new product launches and category refreshes

● Assist with new store openings (NSOs), SIS launches, and specialty store setups, including

pre-opening readiness checks

● Coordinate with store teams during installations to ensure timely and accurate execution

● Support fixture placement, product zoning, and display styling to maximize visual impact and

customer experience

2. VM Standards & Compliance Support

● Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly store visits or virtual audits to monitor VM compliance

across assigned locations

● Use execution checklists to assess compliance across displays, fixtures, signage, product

placement, and campaign rollouts

● Capture and maintain visual records through store photos, audit decks, and execution

trackers

● Identify gaps in execution, non-compliance, or maintenance issues and ensure timely

corrective action

● Follow up with store teams to close execution gaps within defined timelines

● Monitor upkeep of VM assets, fixtures, and display tools to ensure stores maintain

presentation standards

● Ensure stores remain aligned to brand standards despite regional or channel-specific

adaptations

● Support implementation of tech-enabled compliance tools where relevant

3. Reporting, Documentation & Asset Tracking

● Maintain detailed databases for store VM execution, campaign rollouts, visual asset

deployment, and fixture tracking

● Prepare daily/weekly/monthly compliance reports with execution insights, challenges, and

action plans

● Track asset movement, stock availability, and store-level deployment for VM materials

● Maintain organized documentation of planograms, display guides, seasonal updates, and

execution references

● Flag recurring operational issues such as delayed installations, damaged fixtures, missing

assets, or low compliance trends

● Support the Senior VM in building execution summaries and performance trackers for

leadership reviews

4. Vendor & Cross-Functional Coordination Support

● Coordinate with vendors for production, dispatch, installation timelines, and maintenance

requirements

● Support communication between store teams, operations, and VM
