Job Description: Junior Video Producer

Location: Bangalore

Type: In-Office, 5 days a week.

Department: Content / Video Production

Experience Required: 23 years

CTC: Up to 4.5-5 Lacs LPA

Role Overview

We are looking for a Junior Video Producer who can handle both video editing and shoot coordination. The role requires someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple video projects, directing shoots on ground, and coordinating with freelance photographers, videographers, and editors.

This role is ideal for someone who understands storytelling, has strong editing skills, and is confident in managing production independently when required.

Key Responsibilities

1. Video Editing & Post-Production

  • Edit videos for digital campaigns, social media, and marketing use

  • Add music, graphics, subtitles, and basic motion elements

  • Ensure videos meet brand and storytelling guidelines

  • Deliver videos within strict timelines

2. Shoot Planning & Direction

  • Plan shoots based on campaign requirements

  • Direct shoots on location when required

  • Ensure required shots, interviews, and B-roll are captured

  • Maintain quality and emotional tone of the content

3. Coordination with Freelancers

  • Coordinate with freelance photographers / cinematographers / editors

  • Share shoot briefs and ensure execution as per requirement

  • Manage shoot logistics, timelines, and deliverables

  • Follow up for raw footage and final files

4. Project Management & Reporting

  • Handle multiple video projects simultaneously while maintaining quality standards

  • Maintain shoot schedules, editing timelines, and delivery trackers

  • Coordinate closely with marketing / campaign / content teams for requirements and updates

  • Ensure deadlines are met without compromising storytelling or technical quality

  • Maintain proper logging of all shoots, edits, and deliverables in internal trackers

  • Share daily / weekly status reports on project progress, pending tasks, and completed videos

  • Keep record of freelancer assignments, shoot dates, and file deliveries

  • Ensure all footage, final videos, and project files are properly organized and archived

  • Flag delays, risks, or resource issues in advance to the reporting manager

Required Skills
  • Good video editing skills (Premiere Pro / Final Cut / DaVinci / After Effects basic)

  • Understanding of framing, lighting, and sound for shoots

  • Ability to direct interviews and real-life stories

  • Strong coordination and communication skills

  • Ability to work under tight deadlines

  • Willingness to travel for shoots when required

Preferred Skills
  • Experience in documentary / interview / NGO / storytelling content

  • Experience handling freelance crews

  • Basic motion graphics knowledge

  • Experience shooting on DSLR / Mirrorless cameras (optional but preferred)
