Key Responsibilities
- Edit raw video footage into polished, engaging content for web, social media, television, and internal presentations
- Collaborate with directors, producers, and creative team members to align with project narratives and stylistic goals
- Trim footage segments and assemble sequences to create a cohesive story
- Add music, voiceovers, graphics, sound effects, and visual effects as required
- Ensure final videos meet quality standards, brand guidelines, and deadlines
- Organize and manage media assets and project files efficiently
- Stay current with industry trends and editing techniques to contribute innovative ideas
Requirements
- Demonstrate proven work experience as a video editor or in a similar role
- Show proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools
- Display experience with motion graphics software like After Effects (preferred)
- Possess a strong understanding of post-production processes including color grading, sound design, and file formats
- Exhibit excellent attention to detail and time management skills
- Bring a creative mindset with the ability to tell compelling visual stories
- Hold a bachelor's degree in film studies, media production, communications, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Present a strong portfolio or demo reel demonstrating editing capabilities
