Junior UI/UX Designer

We are seeking a talented Junior UI/UX Designer to join our team on a full-time basis. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, create compelling user experiences, and contribute to products that make a real impact. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to bring design visions to life.
Responsibilities

• Design and develop intuitive, user-friendly interfaces for web and mobile applications in line with SkoutHaus and client brand guidelines.
• Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using industry-standard design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, etc.).
• Conduct user research, competitor analysis, and usability testing to validate ideas and gather actionable feedback to inform design decisions.
• Collaborate closely with developers, content teams, and project managers to ensure accurate and timely implementation of approved designs.
• Maintain and evolve design systems, component libraries, and style guides to ensure consistency across all products and touchpoints.
• Stay updated on the latest UI/UX trends, tools, techniques, and best practices, and proactively propose improvements where relevant.
• Present design concepts, user journeys, and rationale to stakeholders and incorporate feedback while balancing user needs, technical feasibility, and business goals.
• Ensure all designs are responsive, accessible (following accessibility standards), and optimized for performance across devices and platforms.
• Take ownership of assigned SkoutHaus design tasks and be fully accountable for quality, timelines, and proper documentation of work.
• Proactively identify UX gaps, product usability issues, and design risks, and recommend practical solutions to improve overall user experience.

Professional & Company-Oriented Responsibilities

• Adhere strictly to company policies, NDAs, and confidentiality requirements related to client data, internal documents, and design assets.
• Ensure all design files, resources, and deliverables are properly organized, named, and stored in company-approved tools and repositories for easy handover and future reference.
• Respect intellectual property guidelines: use only licensed or company-approved fonts, icons, images, and design resources.
• Provide regular status updates, communicate blockers early, and participate in reviews, stand-ups, and feedback sessions as required by the management.
• Support a collaborative, solution-focused culture within the SkoutHaus team and represent the company professionally in all internal and external interactions.
• Perform any additional duties or responsibilities assigned by the management from time to time, in line with business needs and company priorities.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of professional experience in UI/UX design.
• Full-fledged knowledge and proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Canva and Adobe XD.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
• Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
• Knowledge of responsive design and mobile-first approaches.
• Excellent visual design skills with attention to typography, color, and layout.
• Good knowledge and experience in photo and video editing.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating UI/UX projects and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• High sense of responsibility and ownership towards projects and team commitments.
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Experience with design systems and component-based design is a plus.
• Familiarity with frontend frameworks (React, Vue, Angular) is a plus.
• Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) is a plus.

Interview Process

The selection process consists of 3 rounds:

• Round 1: Assessment - Evaluate your design skills and problem-solving abilities through a practical assessment.
• Round 2: Technical HR - In-depth discussion of your technical expertise, portfolio, and design approach.
• Round 3: Founder - Final round covering cultural fit, expectations, and role specifics.
