Description
- Perform routine and complex EEG procedures to obtain data for use in the diagnosis of clinic disorders of the nervous system.
- To get the tracings reported by Neurologist.
- To assist with scheduling patients for EEG / EMG.
- Maintaining the equipment in the department, ensuring that a test run of the machine with calibration is conducted as and when required.
- Receiving the patients and checking for completeness of their papers, preparation for the test and collecting their previous investigation reports.
- To ensure that all equipments are in optimum working condition.
- To maintain inventory of required equipment and supplies.
- To maintain patient registers.
- Assisting in EEG / EMG monitoring in the OT.
- Conducting EEG's in ICU, ICCU & PICU.
- To maintain professional conduct, good communication skills, and confidentiality in the care of patients.
- To be part of Quality Improvement Initiative & protocols of the organization.
