Description
The Junior Structural Engineer will be responsible for Design and analysis of reinforced concrete and steel structures including connection design. This role requires good understanding of Geotechnical engineering considerations that are essential for structural design. The understanding of related IS Standards such as IS 456, IS 800, IS 13920, IS 3370, IS 875, etc. is preferred. The Junior Structural Engineer will report to Head of Department (HOD) of Structures.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with Senior Engineers to develop Structural scheme of projects.
- Undertake inter-disciplinary coordination to share the impact of decisions by Structural engineers.
- Undertake impact assessment of decisions by other lead engineers and disciplines..
- Understand the Project commitments and timelines for delivery of project as a good team player.
- Undertake training through self-driven initiatives to add new skills as needed for the job.
Qualifications
- MTech in Structural Engineering.
- 2-8 years of experience in Design and analysis of Reinforced concrete and Steel structure.
Technical Skills
- Logical analysis of problems and ability to tackle variety of structures.
- Strong acumen for structural analysis and design.
- Experience of using Staad Pro, Etabs and other popular analysis and design tools will be an advantage.
- Good familiarity with common tools like MS Office, MS Teams, etc.
Soft Skills
- Good Communication skills.
- Pleasant and approachable personality.
- Team player with practical and creative skill in problem solving.
- Ownership spirit and able to work without supervision.
