Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Junior Sous Chef role. The Junior Sous Chef assist in managing kitchen operations, ensuring the preparation of high-quality dishes. Key responsibilities include supervising kitchen staff, maintaining food safety standards, inventory management, and collaborating on menu design. The role requires leadership, culinary expertise, and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Qualifications

  • Culinary Skills: Proficiency in food preparation, presentation techniques, and maintaining kitchen hygiene standards.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Ability to supervise, mentor, and motivate kitchen staff effectively.
  • Organizational Skills: Experience in inventory management, scheduling, and coordinating kitchen activities.
  • Menu Development: Creative approach to crafting dishes and contributing to innovative menu planning.
  • Commitment to Excellence: Dedication to maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and guest satisfaction.
  • Formal culinary training or certification is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in luxury or fine-dining settings, is an advantage.
