Junior QA Engineer
Location: Pune (Work From Office)

About The Role
We are looking for a Junior QA Engineer who can take ownership of the testing lifecycle and ensure high-quality software delivery. The ideal candidate should be strong in manual testing, defect reporting, scenario building, and edge case identification, along with effective collaboration across teams.
This role requires a practical, detail-oriented QA professional who can independently drive testing efforts in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze requirements and derive comprehensive test scenarios and edge cases
Design and execute test cases for web and mobile applications
Perform functional, regression, usability, and smoke testing
Identify, document, and track defects using Jira with clear and detailed reporting
Take ownership of defect lifecycle management and follow through to closure
Collaborate closely with developers, BA, and stakeholders for issue resolution
Ensure complete test coverage and high-quality deliverables
Support release cycles and perform regression testing for frequent deployments
Maintain test documentation (test cases, reports, etc.)
Contribute to improving QA processes and best practices
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science / IT / Engineering or related field
1–3 years of experience in Manual Testing
Strong understanding of SDLC & STLC
Hands-on experience with Jira or similar bug-tracking tools
Ability to identify edge cases, negative scenarios, and risk areas
Strong experience in test case design and execution
Good understanding of different testing types (Functional, Regression, UAT, etc.)
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
