Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated Junior Software Developer with 1–2 years of experience to join our engineering team. The role involves building and maintaining backend services, developing APIs, and contributing to scalable enterprise applications. Exposure to AI/ML tools and modern cloud platforms will be an added advantage.

You will work closely with senior developers and architects, participate in Agile development cycles, and contribute to real-world production systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs for internal and external systems.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.
• Work with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL for data modeling and queries.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, testing, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate in Agile/Scrum teams and contribute to sprint deliverables.
• Assist in integrating applications with cloud services and third-party systems.
• (Optional) Support integration of AI/ML components into applications using Python-based tools and frameworks.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in software development (Java backend preferred).
• Strong understanding of Java, OOP concepts, and backend development principles.
• Hands-on experience with Spring / Spring Boot framework.
• Good knowledge of REST APIs and microservices basics.
• Familiarity with SQL and relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL).
• Understanding of version control systems like Git.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

• Basic exposure to HTML, CSS, or JavaScript.
• Understanding of Docker and containerized applications.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Exposure to AI/ML concepts or tools (e.g., Python, LangChain, Azure ML, AWS SageMaker).
• Basic knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
