We are currently hiring a Junior Software Developer (Full Stack) to join our client's team in Chennai.

Role overview

We are looking for a highly motivated Junior Software Developer with 0–1 years of experience to join our engineering team. You will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable web applications, focusing on creating seamless user interfaces with Angular and robust backends using FastAPI. This role involves active participation in the full software development lifecycle, from database design in MySQL to deployment and server configuration.

Key Responsibilities

• Frontend Development: Design and implement modular, responsive UI components using Angular (TypeScript) while adhering to internal UI standards.
• Backend Engineering: Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using FastAPI to ensure high performance and responsiveness to requests.
• Database Management: Design, optimize, and manage MySQL databases, including writing complex queries and performing data migrations.
• Code Quality: Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code, aiming for a high maintainability index through unit testing and refactoring.
• Agile Collaboration: Participate in all sprint ceremonies, including daily standups, planning, and retrospectives, to deliver sprint commitments on time.
• DevOps & Deployment: Assist in server setup, GitLab repository management, and configuring application subdomains for independent hosting.

Candidate Profile

Requirements :

Experience

0 to 1 year of professional experience or equivalent project experience in Full Stack development.

Frontend

Proficiency in Angular, HTML5, CSS, and TypeScript.

Backend

Strong understanding of Python and the FastAPI framework for API development.

Database

Practical knowledge of MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL optimization techniques.

Tools

Experience with Version Control (GitLab/GitHub) and project tracking tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
