About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented SMSF Bookkeeper to join our team. This is an entry-level role suited to someone building a career in SMSF administration. You will work alongside experienced professionals to support the bookkeeping and compliance needs of a portfolio of self-managed superannuation funds.
Key Responsibilities
• Maintain accurate books and perform bank, investment, and contribution reconciliations for a portfolio of SMSFs.
• Assist in preparing annual SMSF financial statements and supporting workpapers.
• Support pension account and member balance reconciliations at year-end.
• Prepare and organise compliance documentation to meet SMSF reporting obligations.
• Compile audit-ready files and assist in responding to auditor queries.
What We're Looking For
• Studying or recently completed a degree or diploma in Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting; internship experience is welcome.
• Familiarity with SMSF concepts or software such as BGL Simple Fund 360, Class Super, or Xero is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
