About The Role
We're looking for a Junior Site Engineer with solid execution experience and technical expertise in formwork systems to join our projects team. You'll be responsible for managing day-to-day site activities, coordinating with contractors, and ensuring work progresses smoothly whilst maintaining quality and safety standards.
KRA(s)
- Execute site activities with a strong technical understanding of formwork systems (both conventional and Aluform shuttering)
- Read, interpret and quantify construction drawings, prepare Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) from available drawings
- Supervise and coordinate with contractors and site teams to ensure the timely completion of tasks
- Conduct rate analysis and maintain awareness of project costs, quality benchmarks and safety protocols
- Apply knowledge of BIS codes in daily site operations
- Prepare estimates, BOQs and assist in planning site activities
- Use AutoCAD for reviewing drawings and MS Office for documentation and reporting
Requirements
Essential Experience:
- 34 years of hands-on site execution experience
- Proven expertise in Aluform and conventional shuttering systems
- Experience in contractor management and coordination
- Ability to read construction drawings, prepare BOQ and conduct quantification
- Working knowledge of estimation and rate analysis
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Good command of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Understanding of BIS codes relevant to construction
Preferred (Added Advantage)
- Experience in finishing works (plastering, flooring, painting, etc.)
- Exposure to infrastructure projects
