Lantern Digital is looking for a Junior Shopify Developer with 6 months to 1 year of hands-on experience in Shopify development. We are seeking someone who is passionate about e-commerce, has a strong foundation in front-end development, and is eager to build high-performing Shopify stores for a variety of brands.
Tasks
- Develop, maintain, and optimize Shopify websites and online stores
- Customize Shopify themes and implement new features based on business requirements
- Build responsive, user-friendly, and visually appealing web pages
- Troubleshoot bugs, fix website issues, and improve site performance
- Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality websites
- Ensure websites are optimized for speed, usability, and mobile responsiveness
- Assist in website migrations, app integrations, and custom Shopify functionalities
Requirements
- 6 months to 1 year of experience in Shopify development
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive web development
- Experience working with Shopify themes and theme customization
- Basic understanding of Shopify's Liquid templating language
- Familiarity with Shopify apps and integrations
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team
- Strong communication skills
