Junior Scrum Master

Description

We are seeking a Junior Scrum Master to join our dynamic team in India. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Agile methodologies and a desire to help teams deliver high-quality products in a collaborative environment. As a Junior Scrum Master, you will play a crucial role in facilitating Scrum practices and supporting our development teams.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Assist the Product Owner in managing the product backlog and ensuring clear communication of requirements to the development team.
• Help the team in identifying and removing impediments to ensure smooth delivery of projects.
• Promote Agile best practices and principles within the team and organization.
• Track and report on team performance metrics, providing insights for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication.
• Support the development team in adhering to Scrum practices and maintaining Agile methodologies.

Skills and Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in a Scrum Master or Agile Coaching role.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, specifically Scrum.
• Certification as a Scrum Master (CSM, PSM, or equivalent) is preferred.
• Excellent facilitation, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build strong relationships.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
• Familiarity with project management tools such as JIRA, Trello, or similar.
