Summary
The SAP ABAP Consultant will be a key member of our SAP Development team. This role focuses on gathering and analyzing SAP requirements, documenting, coding, testing, configuring, deploying, implementing, and maintaining various SAP systems and applications.
Main Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyze, and document SAP requirements and specifications.
- Design, code, test, and deploy applications in the SAP environment.
- Maintain and implement enhancements across various SAP systems.
- Utilize SAP ABAP, SAP S/4 ABAP, SAP UI5, and SAP Fiori for development.
- Employ object-oriented programming techniques to develop effective SAP solutions.
- Perform debugging and troubleshooting for performance tuning.
- Create and maintain interfaces using ODATA, RFC, BAPI, and other related technologies.
- Collaborate effectively within the team and ensure good communication with stakeholders.
Key Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in SAP Development.
- Proficiency in SAP ABAP, SAP S/4 ABAP, and object-oriented programming.
- Hands-on experience with ODATA, RFC, BAPI, SOAP, XML, and ABAP on HANA.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP HANA architecture and SQL.
- Familiarity with SAP enhancement techniques like exits, BADI, and the new enhancement framework (AIF).
- Technical proficiency in performance tuning and troubleshooting in HANA environments.
Nice to Have:
- Relevant SAP certifications.
- Experience with functional modules such as FI/CO, SD, MM, PP, and QM.
- Knowledge of ODATA based REST APIs and other integration techniques.
- Aware of the latest SAP technologies and best practices.
