Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Junior Salesforce Developer role based in Chennai. The Junior Salesforce Developer will support the design, development, and deployment of custom Salesforce.com solutions under the guidance of senior team members. Daily responsibilities include building and configuring Lightning Web Components and Visualforce Pages, assisting with Salesforce.com administration tasks such as user setup, profiles, and security, and maintaining data quality through updates and validations. The role also involves troubleshooting issues, participating in code reviews, creating basic technical documentation, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders (such as business analysts and QA) to translate business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions. The person in this role will be expected to learn and adopt best practices in Salesforce development, testing, and release management.
Qualifications
- Strong foundational skills in Salesforce.com Development, including familiarity with Apex, SOQL, and basic customization.
- Hands-on experience or coursework with Lightning Web Components and Visualforce Pages for building user interfaces.
- Knowledge of Salesforce.com Administration, including user management, profiles, roles, and basic configuration.
- Understanding of core Salesforce.com concepts such as objects, fields, workflows, validation rules, and reports.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to follow structured development and testing processes.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate within a team-oriented environment.
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator or Platform Developer I) are a plus.
- Interest in AI, governance, or GRC-driven technology solutions is beneficial.
