About the Role
We are looking for enthusiastic freshers/junior developers who are interested in building a career in ERP development and Sage X3. The candidate will work with experienced Sage X3 consultants and developers to customize, develop, test, and support Sage X3 ERP solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Learn and work on Sage X3 ERP development and customization.
- Develop and maintain Sage X3 scripts, screens, reports, and workflows.
- Support integration between Sage X3 and external applications.
- Assist with SQL queries, data analysis, and troubleshooting.
- Develop and maintain reports using Sage X3 reporting tools.
- Participate in unit testing, integration testing, and defect resolution.
- Analyze functional requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot application and data-related issues.
- Document technical solutions, configurations, and development activities.
- Work closely with functional consultants, QA teams, and senior developers.
- Follow coding, testing, and deployment standards.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of programming fundamentals and OOP concepts.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of SDLC and software development practices.
- Willingness to learn Sage X3 and ERP technologies.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills
Candidates with exposure to any of the following will be preferred:
- Sage X3
- 4GL / Sage X3 development
- SQL Server / Oracle
- Web services / REST APIs
- JSON / XML
- .NET / C#
- JavaScript
- ERP concepts such as Finance, Inventory, Procurement, Sales, or Manufacturing
- Git or other version-control tools
