Job Description

  • Manage new and existing patient admissions and present cases to consultants.
  • Conduct rounds on patients, update consultants, and ensure timely follow-ups.
  • Perform and oversee procedures such as central venous catheter placement and intubation; actively participate in stabilization of acutely ill patients.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient and ward documentation.
  • Monitor and provide general care to patients in hospital wards and outpatient clinics.
  • Examine and interact with patients to diagnose medical conditions.
  • Collaborate with other doctors within the department and across specialties as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Perform specific procedures, including operations and specialist investigations.
  • Coordinate with medical and non-medical staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Assist in managerial responsibilities, including planning workload and staffing for the department.
