Deadline: Extended to 14th October

The project will involve research at the intersection of multiphase flow, nanofluids, transport phenomena, reactive systems, and mesoscale fluid dynamics, with a strong emphasis on both experimental fluid mechanics and computational modeling. We are looking for a highly motivated candidate with a strong interest in fluid mechanics and transport phenomena.

Candidates from Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related disciplines are encouraged to apply.Essential qualification: Candidates must possess a valid GATE/NET qualification, as applicable.Prior experience or exposure to fluid-mechanics experiments, CFD/computational fluid dynamics, multiphase flows, numerical methods, and transport phenomena will be highly desirable.

Fellowship: 37,000/month + 10% HRA

Duration: Up to 3 years

The position may also provide a pathway toward pursuing a PhD at IIT Kharagpur, subject to fulfillment of the applicable Institute admission requirements and selection procedures.

The project offers an excellent opportunity to work on an interdisciplinary research problem combining experiments, computations, and fundamental transport physics, with significant scope for developing expertise in multiphase and reactive-flow systems and producing high-quality research publications.Interested candidates may send their CV, academic details, GATE/NET qualification details, and a brief statement of research interests to:
