Project Title: Surveillance of Water Quality and Microbial Diversity of the Wetland Pisciculture in North & South 24 Paraganas to assess the status of Antibiotic Resistance in produced Fish gut

Project Summary: Assessment of wetland water quality of North & South 24 Paraganas and the screeningof cultivated fish gut microbiota

Name of Post: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Number of Vacancies: 01

Qualification: M.Sc. in Biotechnology/Microbiology/Allied disciplines NET/GATE qualified with prior experience (minimum 1 year) in analytical techniques will be preferred

Consolidated Salary: Rs. 25, 000/- pm

*JRF will be promoted to Senior ResearchFellow (SRF) with a salaryof Rs. 30,000/- pm upon successful completion of one years of JRF service.

**Age relaxation will be given to the following categories: SC/ST Categories, other Backward Classes, and Personwith Benchmark Disability as per the government rules.
