Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Junior Recruiter role based in Meerut. The Junior Recruiter will support recruitment activities from a consultancy environment, including sourcing candidates, screening resumes, conducting initial interviews, and coordinating with hiring managers and client organizations. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing job postings, maintaining candidate pipelines, following up with applicants, and ensuring timely communication throughout the hiring process. The role involves working with recruitment targets, meeting client requirements, and contributing to regular status reports on hiring progress. The Junior Recruiter will also assist in building strong candidate relationships, updating recruitment databases, and collaborating with senior recruiters to improve sourcing strategies and overall recruitment effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Strong candidate sourcing, resume screening, and interview coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple roles and deadlines.
- Proficiency in using job portals, social media platforms, and basic Applicant Tracking Systems or recruitment databases.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging candidates and collaborating with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a target-driven consultancy environment, with good time management, organization, and follow-up skills.
- Basic understanding of recruitment processes, hiring lifecycle, and talent market trends; prior internship or experience in consulting or recruitment is an advantage.
- Comfort with MS Office or equivalent tools for reporting, documentation, and maintaining candidate records.
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline; coursework or certification in Human Resources, Business, or related fields is beneficial.
- Demonstrated professional ethics, attention to detail, and willingness to learn and grow within a fast-paced environment.
