Job Description

Junior Quality Engineer

Experience: 1–2 years | Type: Full-time | Department: IT Department

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Quality Engineer to join our team. In this

position, you will go beyond executing test plans. You will analyze how our systems behave, uncover

edge cases, and help ensure we deliver reliable, high-quality software. We value a genuine sense of

curiosity and a structured approach to problem-solving.

Above all, we place a strong emphasis on willingness to learn and grow. We are more interested in

candidates who show potential and initiative than in a complete checklist of skills.

What You'll Do

• Design, write, and execute test cases across a wide range of scenarios, including standard

flows, edge cases, and less common conditions.

• Perform both manual and automated testing and develop automation scripts to improve

testing efficiency and reliability.

• Conduct load and performance testing to evaluate how our systems perform under stress.

• Identify, reproduce, and document defects clearly, and collaborate with developers to

resolve them.

• Evaluate the product from an end-user perspective to detect issues before they reach

customers.

• Maintain clean, well-organized test documentation, reports, and results.

• Work closely with developers, product, and design teams to build quality into the process

from the outset.

What We're Looking For

• 1–2 years of hands-on experience in software testing (manual with automation).

• A degree in Computer Science or a related field (BE, BCA, ME, MCA, or equivalent).

• Working knowledge of at least one programming language, along with a willingness to

learn others.

• Familiarity with automation tools such as Selenium or Playwright.

• Experience with API testing using Postman.

• Exposure to JIRA for issue tracking and Git for version control.

• Comfortable working with spreadsheets (Excel), presentations, and document

management, as clear communication of findings is a key part of the role.

• Strong attention to detail, a structured way of thinking, and the ability to identify

inconsistencies.

• A genuine interest in learning and building a career in QA.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to .NET, Angular, HTML, and CSS, sufficient to understand the applications being

tested.

• Experience with performance and code-quality tools such as JMeter or SonarQube.

• Familiarity with AI tools and automation to support day-to-day work.

• Understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.

If you meet some but not all of these, we still encourage you to apply. We are hiring for potential

  • and curiosity as much as for existing experience
