Junior QA Engineer

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior QA Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of software products. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is well-versed in testing methodologies and eager to apply hands-on experience in test case creation, execution, and automation. You will play a crucial role in understanding requirements, identifying bugs, and collaborating with development teams in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Understand project requirements thoroughly to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases and prepare necessary test data.
• Perform Test Execution, accurately report bugs, and track them to closure.
• Actively participate in Triage meetings with development and client teams to discuss and resolve issues.
• Develop Test Automation Scripts for Regression Testing using Selenium WebDriver and the JAVA API stack.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education:
• BE (CS), BCA, BCS, or any Graduation in Computer stream with a first-class degree (>=60%).
• Must have completed training in Software Testing from a reputed training institute.
• Technical Skills:
• Well-versed with testing terminology and life cycle.
• Hands-on experience in writing and executing detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases.
• Expertise in various types of testing, including Functional Testing, System Integration Testing, and Regression Testing.
• Practical skills in Test Automation using Selenium WebDriver and the JAVA API stack.
• Knowledge of automation frameworks such as Page Object Model, Keyword Driven, Data Driven, and Hybrid.
• Professional Skills:
• Good at estimating, prioritizing, planning, and coordinating quality testing activities.
• Strong attention to detail with an analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude.
• Knowledge of Agile development methodology and exposure to using Jira or similar tools.
• Good communication skills (verbal and written).
