Job Description
Job Title : Junior Python Manual Test Engineer
Job Type : Full-time
Experience : 2-3 Years
Location : Hyderabad, Telangana(Hybrid)
Responsibilities
- Perform manual testing of Python-based applications including web applications, APIs, and backend systems
- Analyze requirements and prepare test scenarios, test cases, and test data
- Execute test cases, document results, and report issues clearly
- Perform API testing using tools such as Postman or similar tools
- Validate application data through database testing using SQL queries
- Identify, log, track, and retest defects using tools such as JIRA, ALM, or Azure DevOps
- Work closely with developers to reproduce issues and validate fixes
- Apply knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies during testing activities
- Use basic Python scripting for test data preparation, validation, or simple testing utilities
- Perform regression, smoke, and sanity testing as required
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews
- Follow defined testing processes, standards, and best practices
- Communicate testing status, issues, and risks clearly to the team
- Gain or demonstrate exposure to automation tools or frameworks such as Selenium or PyTest to support testing activities
- Develop an understanding of cloud-based applications and environments such as AWS or Azure, when applicable
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
