Junior PR Executive KRA and Role
1. Media Query Generation & Proactive Pitching (40% Weightage)
Targeted Outbound Leads: Generate a minimum of 10 proactive media queries per month by pitching story pegs, industry trends, or spokesperson profiles to beat journalists.
Inbound Turnaround Time (TAT): Ensure 100% of incoming media queries are acknowledged within 30 minutes and resolved (data/quotes provided) within the journalist's deadline.
News-Jacking: Identify at least 2 breaking news opportunities per month where the brand can provide immediate expert commentary.
Relationship Building: Conduct a minimum of 5 coffee meets or introductory calls with new journalists/bloggers per month to expand the query pipeline.
2. Documentation, SOPs & Reporting (30% Weightage)
Daily Monitoring: 100% accuracy in daily media tracking (Print, Online, Social) to be delivered by 10:30 AM daily.
SOP Compliance: Ensure all PR activities (press release distribution, interview coordination, crisis handling) follow the established Standard Operating Procedures.
Database Management: Monthly update of the master media list, ensuring no more than a 5% bounce rate on press release distributions.
Monthly Coverage Reports: Submission of detailed PR dossiers (including reach, sentiment, and SOV) by the 1st of every month.
3. Media Events & Logistics Support (20% Weightage)
Event Documentation: Create comprehensive Media Briefing Books (spokesperson bios, FAQs, journalist profiles) at least 48 hours prior to any scheduled event.
RSVP Management: Maintain a real-time RSVP tracker for events, ensuring at least an 90% attendance rate of invited Tier-1 media.
On-Ground Coordination: Error-free management of the media registration desk and immediate post-event distribution of Press Kits to non-attendees.
4. Professional Development & Admin (10% Weightage)
Industry Knowledge: Stay updated on Indian media movements (journalists switching publications) and share a weekly Media Movement update with the team.
Archive Management: Maintain a perfectly organized digital repository of all approved brand assets (images, logos, boilerplates).
Salary Slab - Upto 20K per month depending on experience and interview
Monthly Evaluation - Skills based, if not completing 50% of the above within first 15 days we will start the termination process
Skills - This is a skills focus role and independent contributor starting with WFH to Hybrid model based in Odisha -Bhubaneshwar
