Role Description

The Junior Property Accountant is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram. Responsibilities include preparing and maintaining financial statements, recording and reconciling journal entries, and supporting financial reporting processes. The Junior Property Accountant will assist in general accounting and finance activities related to property portfolios, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in day-to-day financial operations.

Key Skills Required

• Experience with Yardi system preferred

• Good understanding of US GAAP

• Experience in Real Estate / Property Accounting

• Knowledge of AP/AR, bank reconciliations, and month-end close

• CAM reconciliation and tenant billing experience

• Strong Excel and reporting skills

• Experience handling multi-property portfolios is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com / M.Com preferred)

• CA / CPA pursuing or qualified is a plus

• 2+ years of experience in Property or Real Estate Accounting

• Experience with Yardi or similar property accounting software

• Understanding of US GAAP and real estate accounting processes

• Strong communication and Excel skills
