We are seeking a motivated Junior Project Manager (Networking Domain) with a CCNA certification to support the planning, coordination, and execution of networking projects. This role is ideal for candidates who have a strong networking foundation, excellent organizational skills, and the ambition to grow into a senior delivery/project management role.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Coordination & Execution
- Assist in planning and executing network implementation, upgrade, and migration projects.
- Track project deliverables, timelines, and dependencies using standard PM tools (MS Project, Jira, or equivalent).
- Support cut-over activities during switch/router replacements, upgrades, or data center migrations.
- Technical Collaboration
- Work closely with network engineers to ensure tasks are delivered in line with design and standards.
- Review network diagrams, change plans, and implementation schedules.
- Provide L1/L2 technical assistance where required, leveraging CCNA knowledge.
- Governance & Reporting
- Maintain RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) logs.
- Prepare project status reports, dashboards, and client presentations.
- Ensure adherence to ITIL and Change Management processes during deployments.
- Stakeholder Communication
- Act as a liaison between clients, vendors, and internal technical teams.
- Participate in project calls, documenting minutes of meetings and tracking follow-ups.
- Escalate risks/issues promptly to the Project/Delivery Manager.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Certification: Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) is mandatory.
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in networking or IT project coordination.
- Technical Knowledge:
- Basic understanding of LAN/WAN, VLANs, routing protocols, and switch configurations.
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools and ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Remedy, etc.).
- Project Management:
- Exposure to project management methodologies (Agile/Waterfall).
- Familiarity with tools like MS Project, Jira, or Trello.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, time management, analytical thinking, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Preferred Skills
- ITIL Foundation certification.
- Hands-on experience assisting in network cutovers or migrations.
- Experience working in multi-vendor/global environments.
