Junior Project Manager - Retail Fit-Outs

Role Description

We are looking for a Junior Project Manager to join our team and support the execution of retail projects.

This is a field-based, hands-on role involving extensive travel to project sites. We are looking for someone who enjoys being on site, understands construction and materials, and has a good eye for quality and detail.

What you will be doing

• Conducting site surveys and taking accurate measurements

• Visiting sites regularly during construction and fit-out

• Checking workmanship, materials and finishes

• Ensuring execution follows approved drawings and design intent

• Coordinating with contractors, vendors and site teams

• Identifying quality issues, deviations and execution problems

• Preparing site reports with photographs and action points

• Maintaining snag lists and following up on rectifications

• Tracking site progress and highlighting delays or risks

• Comfortable with regular site travels

• Supporting remote site monitoring through photographs, videos and calls when required

What we are looking for

• 2–4 years of experience in retail interiors, commercial interiors, fit-outs or construction supervision

• Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design or a related field

• Good practical understanding of construction, materials and finishes

• Ability to read and understand architectural/interior drawings

• Good site measurement and documentation skills

• Strong eye for quality and attention to detail

• Good communication and coordination skills

• Comfortable with regular site visits and travel

• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Excel
