Junior Project Engineer - Mechanical Engineering
We are looking for a Junior Project Engineer with a background in Mechanical Engineering to join our team. There will be opportunities for regional travelling and training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning, coordination and execution of engineering projects from start to completion
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, contractors, suppliers and clients to ensure projects are delivered according to schedule and requirements
- Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, reports and project documentation
- Assist with project costing, material procurement and coordination with suppliers
- Support site visits, inspections and installation works when required
- Monitor project progress and follow up on outstanding technical and operational matters
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues during project execution
- Ensure engineering works are carried out in accordance with project specifications, quality standards and safety requirements
- Maintain proper project records and documentation
- Perform other project-related and ad-hoc duties as assigned
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline
- Basic understanding of mechanical engineering principles and technical drawings
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
