Junior production engineer

Description

We are seeking a motivated Junior Production Engineer to join our dynamic team in India. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our production operations by assisting in the design, development, and optimization of production processes. This position is suitable for candidates with 3-8 years of experience in a relevant engineering field.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and development of production processes and systems.

 Maintaining cycle time of product.

·         Fixing machine and machine ecosystem (Grinder, RM Hopper, Leak Tester, Bottle & Scrap Conveyor, Stacking & Storage Area).

·         Control and Training of labour.

·         To be present minded 100% in the plant and keep a sharp eye for any activity that could cause potential harm.

·         Maintaining the cleanliness of the plant and storage area.

·      Coordinating with QC for part quality

·      Coordinating with Maintenance persons for less machine downtime.

On an Overall basis, your job entails the following tasks;

·         Updating yourself with the best knowledge for Extrusion Blow Moulding and Machinery and Plant Management.

·         Suggesting training and skill-upgradation programs if any.

·         Improving and suggesting any ways in which your plant can improve.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or related field.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) for design purposes.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production techniques.
• Familiarity with quality control methodologies and tools.
• Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and practices.
