Job Summary:
The Junior Procurement Executive will support the procurement team in sourcing, purchasing, and managing supplies required for kitchen operations. The role involves vendor coordination, order processing, cost tracking, and ensuring timely availability of quality materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in sourcing and purchasing raw materials, packaging, and kitchen supplies
- Coordinate with vendors for quotations, order placement, and delivery follow-ups
- Maintain vendor database and update pricing records regularly
- Track purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials
- Verify invoices, GRNs, and purchase documentation
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with stores/operations for replenishment
- Support in negotiating pricing and terms with vendors
- Ensure quality and quantity checks of incoming materials
- Maintain procurement reports, MIS, and documentation
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative vendors
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Commerce, Business Administration, or related field
- 0–2 years of experience in procurement or supply chain (freshers with relevant internships can apply)
- Basic knowledge of procurement processes and vendor management
- Good negotiation and communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel and basic ERP systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in F&B, hospitality, or central kitchen procurement
- Familiarity with inventory management systems
- Understanding of food safety and quality standards
