About the Role

As a Junior Performance Engineer, you will work with the Customer Success and technical teams to monitor

and analyze the performance of solar PV plants. You will support the team in identifying performance issues,

preparing reports, working with data analytics, and delivering insights to customers.

This role is suitable for a fresh engineering graduate or someone with up to 1 year of experience in solar

PV, O&M, plant operations, or a related field.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze the performance of solar PV plants.

• Support the team in identifying plant performance issues and potential faults.

• Assist in preparing weekly performance reports and impact analysis for PV sites.

• Support the preparation of client deliverables and performance-related reports.

• Work closely with data scientists and technical teams working on fault detection algorithms.

• Assist in analyzing plant data and identifying performance trends.

• Support customer communication and resolve basic technical queries.

• Participate in monthly performance review meetings with clients.

• Coordinate with on-site teams when required for maintenance and performance-related activities.

• Maintain proper documentation of analysis, reports, and customer-related activities.

• Continuously learn and develop an understanding of solar PV operations and performance analytics.

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Energy Systems, or relevant fields.

• Fresh graduates with Solar PV/renewable energy training are welcome.

• Up to 1 year of experience in solar PV, O&M, plant engineering, or performance engineering is

preferred.

• 7th and 8th semester Electrical/Mechanical Engineering students can also apply for full-time

internship opportunities.

• Basic understanding of solar PV systems and O&M.

• Basic data analysis skills and understanding of PV performance parameters.

• Good verbal and written communication skills.

• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, and Google Workspace.

• Strong willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment.

Good to Have

• Internship/project experience in solar PV or renewable energy.

• Familiarity with SCADA or solar monitoring systems.

• Basic knowledge of Performance Ratio (PR), generation, and plant availability.
