About the Role:We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Junior Pediatric Consultant to join our Pediatric Department. The ideal candidate should have strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a genuine passion for child healthcare. The role involves providing high-quality medical care to infants, children, and adolescents in both OPD and IPD settings under the guidance of senior consultants.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct OPD consultations, IPD rounds, and daily patient assessments.
- Assist in diagnosing and treating pediatric illnesses and conditions.
- Monitor patient progress and update patient charts and records regularly.
- Provide emergency pediatric care when required.
- Counsel parents/guardians regarding treatment plans, care instructions, and follow-ups.
- Coordinate with NICU/PICU teams, nursing staff, and other specialty doctors.
- Ensure adherence to hospital protocols, confidentiality, and clinical compliance standards.
- Participate in departmental meetings, clinical discussions, and training sessions.
- Support vaccination programs and routine health check-ups.
- Maintain a compassionate and family-centered approach to patient care.
Required Qualifications & Experience:- MBBS + DCH
- Valid medical registration.
- Freshers or candidates with up to 2 years of experience may apply.
- Strong clinical acumen and willingness to learn and grow under senior guidance.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and patient-handling skills.
